Flomina Children's Home is a registered charitable organization catering to orphans and abandoned children in Kenya. Founders Florence and Mutinda Muthama were touched by the plight of children faced living in the Soweto slums. Owning a business for trading scraps and recyclable material, the couple was able to open a rescue centre. They also created an outreach program serving five children in the local community.
Flomina offers shelter, education, and love to children in its care. It gives them a place to call home and the chance for a better life. Local well wishers, businesspeople, and churches help Flomina ensure that each child continues to receive the home's support.
